The Sphere!
As you can see I am completely obsessed with a building, the fabulous SPHERE in Las Vegas! When they fired it up in 2023 some online friends asked me what it was like and the best I could muster was “it’s wreck your car good!”. We can see it from all over town, it’s a permanent landmark and the art displayed on the ‘exosphere’ is stunning and constantly changing. If you’re visiting Las Vegas, it’s totally worth spending an hour or so over on Manhattan St behind the thing just staring at it. The sheer scale of it is hard to describe. ALL of the billboards in Times Square for example would occupy only a tiny corner of this thing!
